During the holy month of Ramadan, I wanted to capture the beauty and essence of how I think many Muslims experience their time of fasting. I also wanted to pay homage to my childhood where I spent many weekends on the south end & east side of Dearborn.

This doc was meant to provide a view through a unique, local, & authentic lens, not only from a spiritual perspective but from a communal & cultural one as well.
